This contemporary pied-à-terre was created to provide a serene environment in the heart of a busy city. The interiors were designed to highlight and compliment the spectacular bay views from every room. Custom contemporary furnishings, designed especially for this project, were combined with varied antiques and subtle Asian influences to create a harmonious home. The central conversation area seems to float Zen-like on a custom-made circular silk rug. This urban retreat is a special place of warmth and serenity that provides this active family with a comfortable place to quietly nurture the soul.
